I've noticed that Ed seems oddly interested in Edd in some episodes, so I started wondering if Ed really understands that Edd's a boy. Everyone has to think Edd's a girl at least once, because of the hat and voice.
I was surprised how many people thought Edd was a girl at some point. I never thought he was. But I do so love that voice of his. So adorable. Ed seems pretty interested in Eddy a lot too. I could name scenes. lol. He's not a "lovable oaf" for nothing. *hugs Ed*
Haha, I refuse to look at this drawing because it's so old, but in case I didn't say it in the description, I never actually thought he was a girl, but my neighbors who got me interested in the show thought he was so I was very confused about what was defining him as a girl for the first few seconds I watched the show. XD
Oh no no. I wasn't saying you thought. I gathered that you didn't. I was just saying because in my own experiences, I know a lot of people who have said they originally thought Double-D was a girl.
Yeah, I drew this for exactly that reason, it seems so crazy that so many people made that mistake. XD Edd even sounds way more masculine at the beginning of the show than the end.
Yes. Very true. His voice is lower, rougher. I actually like his voice much much more in the later seasons when it's softer and higher. He also takes on more "effeminate" gestures and expressions as the seasons go on as well. (another quality I really dig on.)
Very true. His season 1 voice reminded me of Og from Mike, Lu and Og. His later voice seems more original, it's definitely the hardest voice to impersonate in the show because it's hard to say what qualities define it...
Yes. Exactly. Like I can do a pretty good Ed impersonation (which is weird because I'm a chick) and my brother is pretty good at doing Eddy. But neither of us can do Dee. hehe.
