Welcome to Glip Creek!
A commission for atomicmosaic, a Peach Creek AU set inside The Glippo Show!  Based on this scene, which is one of my all-time favorite gags.  I wish EEnE had shown the characters in more styles!

Zoldor the Space Pirate

A commission for my friend normalize95, who I first knew under the screenname Zoldor over ten years ago, as the space-traveling, lobster-riding, chameleon-owning space pirate I always suspected she might be.  Cleaned up from two sketches she sent me.

I’m offering commissions this month to help cover my bills while my dayjob continues to be unreliable in the wake of the holidays. It really helps me out a lot!  $8 for a 1 character sketch, $15 for digital ink, $30 for full digital color, $2 per additional character, and prices for backgrounds depend on complexity.  If you have an idea that doesn’t fit those guidelines, feel free to check with me.  I've got plenty of empty slots, so please message me privately or contact my email: kevinlordiart@yahoo.com

Eds in the 90s

A commission for atomicmosaic, based on Ed, Edd n Eddy, in some sort of ultra-90s BK Kids Club meets Lisa Frank style.

Hi Mr. Lordi. Heh, it's good to see you doing well and amassing an ample amount of renown. You deserve it. :)

Anyway, what did you think of the Regular Show finale? I was pretty moved. It's just crazy how it never mattered as much when say Courage the cowardly dog or sheep in the big city ended, but RS felt more special in a way and I feel like it was truly the end of an era.

Likewise I hope the best for you because it's plausible. ^^

Aw thanks!  Unfortunately, I have not watched the Regular Show finale and haven't watched the show very consistently the last few seasons, so I'm not sure when I'll catch up.  I did spoil the finale for myself, though, lol.  I am impressed how many things I always hoped would be in a Regular Show finale were in the finale: Lolliland, old designs, meta animation-production gags, sacrificial death, continuity nods, realistically average futures...  I know some friends in the shipping communities who will be upset, but I personally have no interest at all in how Regular Show writes shipping.  Some of it's a little cheesy in a "tv show unreality" way (all their children look ridiculous but fascinating-- and I'm glad Mordecai's wife is another animal-person rather than some lame human), but I think that's supposed to be part of Regular Show's style, so all in all it sounds like a satisfying capper to the show.  I hope that gag about a complete series set becomes real!

Heh, don't worry, I also spoiled the finale for RS and Wander over Yonder (I really wanted to watch that show from beginning to end, but you know life) myself. The ending alone reminded me of a good mix between DBZ, Scott Pilgrim (though DUH given that anti-Pops is actually a concept they really took advantage of) and the Harry Potter epilogue, which was everything you said concerning continuity nods and more. J G Quintel is a fantastic cartoonist, even if I may have been one of those immature people who, heh, gave his first episodes a '1 star' review at first. The show grew on me ever since and I'm glad to have enjoyed it. ^^

Hiya Kev! First and foremostly- thank you for the interest and support and for still being around (you're like a cliff in an ever-changing river after all these years, although I do realize things have changed in your personal life)! I truly enjoy your animated creations, and your witty sense of humour and overall knowledge makes your blog a blast to follow.

After befriending a couple of wonderful people on here thanks to my old fan art folder, I've been sneaking around the EEnE fandom lately, thinking it would be nice to refresh my memory, relax and just have some fun all by myself. I was just reblogging some posts, when all of a sudden, I had received my first inbox question ever and a couple of followers from the fandom- and now I'm all hyped up with nostalgia and an urge to rejoin. So tell me- are we celebrating a special event, or has the fandom always been this active?

*At the same time, I'm not surprised. It's a surprisingly complex show that covers a wide range of interests and topics. ; )

See you around!

Hey Hanna!  I'm glad to see you around, I have been noticing you posting more Eds lately!  And thank you very much as well, it's very good to hear from you.  :D

The only special event I can think of is that the show's 18th birthday passed 4 days ago.  I think the show has just always had a surprisingly consistent fanbase, or at least it has since Tumblr got into it 5 years ago, that helps insure new fans pop up all the time.  The closest it ever gets to being dead is when there's a fad dominating the fandom, and that's only in the sense that it takes a while for something like KevEdd to stop being the ONLY thing you see when searching EEnE tags.  However, I have noticed my own interest in the show waned last year and is suddenly stronger than ever.  I'm not sure if it's just because I'm becoming more aware of the visual themes lately, making the show feel less random and more serial (I love how incidental the show's developments are presented, though), or if it's just the fear that any show could soon be the victim of a charmless reboot and we need to enjoy the real thing now.  But I've always needed to take breaks and comes back to the show refreshed and I think the fandom does that as well.

Dude! You're flipping amazing at your work! Everything is so fresh and unique. As the first to say Happy New Year, I hope you get many commissions. You give me such a nostalgical feel even as an adult. Thank you for that.

Hey, Kevo! Mike here! I've just returned to DeviantArt because I got back into my old fan art habit. Besides EEnE, I also saw Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, and right now I'm about to binge-watch Steven Universe. I'm also experimenting with designs for my own cartoon.

Btw, how's Hoop-A-Joop been going? If you ever want a writing buddy for that, give me a holler. I'd love to help out!

Eyyy welcome back, glad you're still drawing!  I'm keeping Hoop quiet right now while I develop a clearer understanding of the plot and characters, but I'm constantly writing new drafts of the pilot.  :)
